Our Policy

Ensuring Quality Finishes

At Industria Powder Coaters (IPC), we take pride in delivering quality finishes. Please read the following before we begin your project:

  • Customers must disclose all items, conditions and requirements before work begins.
  • IPC accepts no responsibility for issues caused by undisclosed conditions, pre-existing defects or customer-applied materials.
  • Non-metal materials such as putty, filler, silicone, rubber and plastic must be removed before drop-off, or disclosed and charged as part of the pre-cleaning service.
  • Only suitable metal items can be powder coated.
  • Sandblasting is required for rusted, previously coated or poorly prepared surfaces and is charged separately.
  • Ungalvanised steel for exterior use must be sandblasted and receive two coats of powder coating.
  • Customers are responsible for clearly identifying and communicating all items. IPC takes reasonable care but cannot take responsibility unaccounted items during processing.
  • Powder coating does not hide existing defects or surface conditions.
  • Colour and finish may vary slightly due to material, batch, surface condition and lighting.
  • Minor marks at hanging points may occur during coating.
  • Previous coatings, repairs or other surface conditions may affect the final result.
  •  Coating failure may happen when coating specifications have not been followed, not to IPC’s fault.
  • Express: 1–3 working days.
  • Standard: 4–7 working days.
  • Turnaround times are estimates and may vary depending on the job, order volume and external factors.
  • Quotes are estimates only, final pricing is confirmed after a physical assessment.
  • Additional items or work may incur additional charges.
  • Any changes, corrections or rework requested after work has commenced or been completed will incur additional charges for any labour, consumables and operational costs incurred.
  • Bulk orders may qualify for a discount.
  • Full payment is required before items are released.
  • Recoat items are accepted at the customer’s risk and carry no guarantee due to the condition of the existing coating.
