Ensuring quality finishes on your products
We take pride in delivering quality finishes. Please read the below before we begin your project:
1. Item Preparation
- Proper preparation is essential for a smooth, even finish.
- Sandblasting is required for pre-coated items, rusted surfaces, or uneven finishes and must be disclosed beforehand. This is a separate service and fee.
- Clients must remove putty, filler, silicone, or similar materials before drop-off, as these affect adhesion and coating quality.
Any rubber, plastic, or non-metal parts must also be removed by the client beforehand. Onlymetal items suitable for high curing temperatures may be coated. Rubber, plastic, fillers, sealants, or non-metal components.
2. item Finishes, turnaround times & Expectations
- Powder coating improves durability and appearance but does not conceal existing surface defects; therefore, sandblasting is essential for optimal results.
- Colour and finishmay vary slightly due to batch, material differences, or lighting conditions.
- Minor marks at hanging points may be present and are often unavoidable during the coating process.
- We offer both Express Service(2–4 days) andStandard Service(5–10 days); however, these turnaround times may differ based on job complexity, order volume, or external factors beyond our control.
3. Quotes
- Online quotes are estimates only; items must be assessed in person for a final quote.
- Any additional items added after the final quote will be quoted separately.
- Bulk orders may qualify for a discount.
4. Collection & Payment
- Items will only be released once full payment has been received.
- If something we agreed on is incorrect, notify us within 48 hours — mistakes happen, and we’ll do our best to resolve them. After 48 hours, any changes will incur a cost due to operational expenses.
- Completed items are stored for free 7 days from notification. After that, a storage fee of R50/day applies.
