Our Policy

Ensuring quality finishes on your products

our guidelines

We take pride in delivering high-quality finishes.
Please read the below before we begin your project.

1. Pre-powder coating

Items submitted to IPC must be a powder-coatable metal. Non-metallic materials are not allowed in the oven. Please ensure that all foreign materials are removed before submission —such as plastic inserts, rubber seals, screws etc.

For optimal results, we recommend disassembling parts and having smooth joints for even coverage. Avoid overlapping sections, as powder can't reach underneath.

Proper preparation is crucial to prevent delays or damage. If you need our pre-prep service, please notify us in advance. IPC cannot be held responsible for any issues caused by undeclared preparation assistance.

If your item has rust/ an old coating/ surface inconsistencies, sandblasting service is required to ensure a quality finish. Declining this service will affect coating results, for which IPC cannot accept responsibility.

2. Post- powder coating

Clients are required to sign upon collection, confirming all items have been received. Once signed, responsibility for the items transfers to the client.

A 24 hour inspection window is offered after collection, during which any issues relating to IPC workmanship can be reported. If IPC is at fault, we will gladly provide a touch-up.

Requests for changes or touch-ups after this period will incur a fee to cover operational costs.

3. Payment and extras

Goods will be released upon full payment, so please be mindful to pay on time. Extra work requested outside the original scope will be quoted and billed separately. IPC offers bulk order discounts on larger projects.
